Wall Ball Workout

If you wish to be a great lacrosse player someday or simply an asset to your team, put in the time now playing wall ball.  Here is a great routine.  If you are a 7/8A or High School player, you should feel that you are practicing to reach the goal of doing all 10 steps with 10 reps of each in UNDER 210 SECONDS.  Starters on V, JV and 7/8A should be under 180 seconds.  Don't practice 10 reps each though,  practice at 50 reps each to build your skills.

* Use your Gloves

* Keep your feet moving

* Focus on fundamentals, not speed.

Wall Ball Routine

1. Right hand quick stick (50 reps)

2. Left hand quick stick (50 reps)

3. Right handed one-hand (50 reps)

4. Left handed one-hand catch (50 reps)

5. Catch Right Throw Left (50 reps)

6. Catch Left Throw Right (50 reps)

7. Cross body Pass – Right handed (50 reps)

8. Cross body Pass – Left handed (50 reps)

9. Right hand lever pass (50 reps)

10. Left hand lever pass (50 reps)

Secret Tip - practice ground balls of the wall too.

Pro speed for 10 reps of each - Under 100 seconds

College Player 10 reps of each - Under 120 seconds

High School 10 reps of each - Under 180 seconds

Young Guns - 10 reps of each under 210 seconds.
